Days to write your novel
Most people have thought of a great idea for a book, but putting pen to paper is a whole different beast.
It can all be incredibly overwhelming to stare at a blank page. We make writing your own novel SIMPLE. You can and will write your novel in as little as 30 days.
That might seem like a lofty venture if you aren't a writer (or even if you are), but let me prove it to you!
As featured on:
HOW TO BRAINSTORM
I will help you organize all the ideas floating around in your head and develop a concise game plan.
HOW TO OUTLINE
I will teach you how to make a bulletproof outline.
HOW TO WRITE EFFICIENTLY AND EFFECTIVELY
This is not just an outlining course. I will take you through the entire process from idea to completion.
HOW TO FINALLY COMPLETE YOUR NOVEL
Most people can't quite deal with the follow through of a great idea. Writing can be overwhelming, and a blank page can be daunting. This step by step method streamlines the entire process.
Welcome! I’ll introduce myself and give you a brief summary of what you can expect from this course. I will also provide you with one of the key motivating factors that helps me complete my books so quickly. ONE LESSON AND TWO WORKSHEETS
In this lesson, I will teach you the techniques to develop a dynamic setting in which to create your world. ONE LESSON AND TWO WORKSHEETS
How do you want your story to look? How do you want the reader to feel when they dive into your book. Nailing down a theme means establishing the central ambiance for your book. We do this early in The Novel Challenge because it helps to clarify issues that may arise later. ONE LESSON AND TWO WORKSHEETS
I call this lesson "Meeting Your Main Character" because I guide you through the whole process of exploring who your main character is. We will create a whole and complex character that you will be able to know just like you know your own motives and goals. ONE LESSON AND SEVEN WORKSHEETS
This is such a fun lesson! We will spend some time creating a full cast of supporting characters to move your story and your protagonist forward. ONE LESSON AND TWO WORKSHEETS
How would X effect Y? Why is the protagonist acting how he is? How can his motives be explained, and why is he moving toward a greater goal? These questions can be complicated, but creating the answer will provide insight into how your character moves through the story. ONE LESSON AND TWO WORKSHEETS
This means more than a simple statement of conflict. This lesson is about teaching you how to take a concept of an event and turn it into an interesting conflict that will keep the reader invested in your story and your character's journey. ONE LESSON AND TWO WORKSHEETS
This is the last lesson in our "Brainstorming" unit. The premise is the final piece that will succinctly tie all of your brainstorming into one premise to move forward. A key aspect of The Novel Challenge is the detailed way in which we brainstorm. Over the course of the last 7 lessons, we have established dozens of interesting details to move forward with an intriguing concept. ONE LESSON AND TWO WORKSHEETS
I will help you to discover what type of outline might work for the way you write and the way you think. ONE LESSON AND ONE WORKSHEET
In this lesson, we will start to build a scene list. The scene list will work as the foundation of the outline structure we are going to build. ONE LESSON AND ONE WORKSHEET
This is a continuation of my previous lesson. We will continue to develop interesting scenes that will help to bring your story to life. ONE LESSON AND ONE WORKSHEET
Editing is often overlooked in the planning process, but streamlining your characters, scenes, and subplots will make the writing process seamless. ONE LESSON AND ONE WORKSHEET
The smaller "setting within a setting" is pivotal in creating the needed tension at your climax. I will teach you how to create dynamism in your climax through setting. ONE LESSON AND ONE WORKSHEET
This lesson is all about bringing life to your scenes with tactile descriptors. With a series of exercises, we inject a plethora of unique details that breathe your own unique writing style into your story. ONE LESSON AND ONE WORKSHEET
In the next 3 lessons, I provide my formula for creating your bulletproof outline. By this point, you know your characters like family and your setting like your own backyard. You have built a series of strong scenes and are ready to move forward with your detailed outline. ONE LESSON AND ONE WORKSHEET
ONE LESSON AND ONE WORKSHEET
ONE LESSON AND ONE WORKSHEET
Now that you have created your roadmap, I will help you weave in details from your conclusion into earlier parts of your story. This will give depth to your previous scenes. ONE LESSON AND ONE WORKSHEET
This lesson is completed over the next 30 days with a series of excersizes, word count tracking, and accountability checks. By the end of this lesson, YOU WILL HAVE A NOVEL! ONE LESSON AND FORTY FIVE WORKSHEETS

My name is Catherine. You have probably read something I have written, but you won't know my name. When I first graduated college, I was hopping between multiple high-stress, low-pay jobs. I felt like I was barely getting by, but I was running myself straight into the ground.
Ten years ago, I took a step back and looked at my life. I decided to make some big changes.
I became a freelance writer. I am not just any type of writer. I have ghostwritten countless books for other people.
Most people think they can't be writers. It is all just incredibly overwhelming. Where do I start? Why can't I ever finish? IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT! I can teach you the same system I use to EASILY write multiple books in a short period of time.
What if you could write a book in the next 30 to 60 days? My formula makes writing a novel EASY! You absolutely can write your novel in the next month, even if you have no clue where to start!
